Amey Kamat is a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer with over 5 years of experience in building enterprise applications at scale. Currently working as a Software Engineer II at Intuit, Amey has also contributed to reputed organizations such as Ernst and Young, Barclays, and IIT Bombay. Amey's expertise lies in a wide range of technologies, including Java 8, Python, Nodejs, Spring Boot, React, Redux, MySQL, MariaDB, H2, MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, CQRS, Domain-driven design (DDD), and Event Sourcing. He is the creator of MEERA, an ML-based virtual assistant, which is his flagship open-source project. Throughout his career, Amey has received numerous awards for his contributions to various organizations, including the Dexter Award at Intuit, Spot Award at EY, and Certificate of Appreciation at Barclays. In his free time, Amey volunteers to help college students and professionals improve their skills in the software industry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked with a local group called f-24 to deliver 3D printed face shields to hospitals.
