Amey Kore is a highly motivated and passionate individual who is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. With a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Pune University, Amey is curious about science and mathematics and is keen to make a career in robotic programming. He has acquired valuable experience through various projects and internships and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Amey is skilled in embedded systems, ROS, ROS2, Python, MATLAB, C, and C++. He has a capacity for active learning and can adapt to new technologies and environments. He has achieved several key accomplishments, including being placed in the top 50 of ABU Robocon 2017-2018 and winning a national gold medal in karate. Amey has worked as an intern at the Research & Development Establishment (Engineers), Ministry of Defense, DRDO, Dighi, Pune for three months. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at DRDO, where he works under the guidance of a DRDO researcher to form equations for the formation of drones. He has developed a script in Python for a line and triangle formation of the drone and verified the result on the field. Amey has also written a script for simultaneous take-off and formation for multiple drones and contributed to developing collision avoidance of drone code using simultaneous localization and mapping. He has led efforts to resolve GPS signal lost error in autonomous flying on drones. Amey has also worked as a ROS Developer at DRDO, where he learned and used the Robot Operating System (ROS) to send and receive data packets to respective drones. He developed the code to form a customized data packet to get information from the drone and verified the drone surveillance code for a specified area with intrusion coordinates given by the GPS sensor. He worked with a team for precision landing of drones using IR-lock sensor and IR beacon. Amey has a strong educational background, with a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, and a Higher Secondary Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi Academy of E-Learning School & Science Junior College. He also has a Secondary School Certificate from New English School, Tilak Road, Pune. Amey's tech stack includes software engineering, machine learning, research scientist, and Python. He has 2.51 years of relevant experience and is an excellent addition to any team.
