Amey Mahajan is a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff at athenahealth with over 4 years of relevant experience in the software engineering industry. Amey has previously worked as a Software Engineer at MetricStream, where he was involved in agile development on the MetricStream platform for European clients. He was responsible for developing custom Java REST-APIs on the Upper layer of MetricStream M7 to communicate with Oracle Database. He also designed the logic of the presentation layer using event handler functions in JavaScript, CSS & HTML, and wrote complex PL/SQL scripts to fetch and store data in Oracle Database. Additionally, he was involved in discussion and designing of TDD for customers requesting enhancements in the product. He performed Unit and Regression tests for the functionality of Out of the box product, troubleshooted and resolved product issues, and was responsible for on-time release and deployment for project delivery. Amey has also worked as a Solution Engineer Intern at Gammastack, where he developed various web applications for American and European customers. He worked on open source technologies like Ruby on Rails, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, and used Git for version controlling and continuous integration. His job responsibilities included direct communication with clients and requirement gathering, development and testing of the work, and deployment and delivery to clients. Amey holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Acropolis Institutions, where he graduated in 2019. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2003 to 2015.
