Amey Vaidya is a passionate computer engineering graduate with over 8 years of experience in the software development industry. He is currently working as a Technical Lead at imocha, where he is responsible for developing new REST API, code reviews, designing and architecture of new features, setting up Git workflow and CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, scaling API's and back-end systems to meet new workload, adding required infrastructure on Azure and AWS cloud, monitoring platform health with custom logging pipeline using ELK stack & third party tools, and working with distributed client teams across the world for custom Integration of Mocha Platform. Amey has a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and is a lifelong learner. He is passionate about computers and electronics and has a keen interest in distributed systems, DS & Algo, OOP's, compilers, operating systems, and computer architecture. He is proficient in C#, SQL, Javascript, Go, and Python and has experience working with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, Scrum, TDD, TFS, and Git for version control, and SQL Server, SQL lite, and Elastic search for data technologies. In his previous roles at imocha, Amey worked as an Integration Lead, where he exclusively worked on API and Integration strategy part of Interview Mocha Platform, developed 1-Click integrations with leading ATS, LMS, Job boards, and HRMS systems, and trained new team members on API and Integration. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer, where he shipped new features as part of the App team at Mocha, fixed bugs, implemented a logging strategy for the App, refactored legacy code to new frameworks, and improved the performance of App modules proper load testings. Amey holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.
