Ameya Deshpande is a skilled Computer Vision and Machine Learning professional with over 4 years of experience in this field. He has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision and Computational Photography from IIT Gandhinagar. Ameya has been part of a team that developed a python-based inference framework based on Openslide to run multiple deep learning models on very large Whole Slide Images (WSI) and generate results at the desired resolution by the user. He has also worked on a deep learning-based anomaly detection algorithm to identify the presence of unknown regions/abnormalities in tissue images. Ameya has gained extensive experience in Keras, Tensorflow, Python, and OpenCV. He has been awarded "Ingenious Geniuses" and "Mind Benders" in 2019 by AIRA Matrix. Prior to AIRA Matrix, Ameya worked as an Embedded System Engineer at C-Sky Scientifics Pvt. Ltd. He was responsible for embedded system projects on 8-bit PIC and 16-bit dsPIC microcontrollers. He also established application-level communication protocols over wired and wireless links and designed a MATLAB-based Front End Application for controlling embedded modules and data logging purposes. Ameya holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Don Bosco Institute of Technology. He has a relevant experience of 5.94 years and is skilled in Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Python, Object Detection, Keras, OpenCV, and Frontend.
