Ameya Khot is a driven and accomplished Quantum Software Engineering RA at Texas A&M University Kingsville with a passion for immersion and mastery. He is currently seeking an SDE Internship for Summer 2023. Ameya has always excelled in the activities that interest him, be it sports or academia. He has tried out various things but has only immersed himself in a few activities, which he has put all his efforts into. After graduating from academia, he chose to focus on one technology and master it to the core, and he is happy to talk about it to anyone who asks. Currently working as a Software Engineer (Machine Learning) at conmove.io, Ameya actively works with Ubuntu 16.04+ and builds REST APIs in Python3.8 using Flask/FastAPI to create a production environment with Uvicorn, Gunicorn, NGINX & Supervisor. He also works with MySQL and Postgres, uses AWS to store data in Postgres RDS and to store documents in S3 buckets, and builds object detection models using Torch and deploys them over REST APIs. Ameya also creates dockerfile and dockercompose for dockerization of applications and creates documentation for every piece of code for easy future access. Ameya has previously worked at Amazon as a Data Associate - I, where he pre-processed Alexa data, and at Quantiphi as a Data Analyst, where he worked in the Finance Department, consolidated data from multiple sources to visualize it and create a dashboard, and used Python, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, and Google Slides. Ameya holds a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University Kingsville, where he is currently a Quantum Software Engineering RA, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Machine Learning, AWS, Postgres, Object Detection, MySQL, Flask, Big Data, and Python. Ameya has 2.69 years of relevant experience and is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
