Amin Ghadersohi is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 16 years of relevant experience in product development, data and systems engineering, architecture, and management. He possesses strong leadership, project management, analytical, executive, and leadership skills, and has worked in small, medium, and large team settings. Amin has a proven track record of thriving in fast-moving environments and small focused groups. Currently, Amin serves as the Engineering Manager - Instrumentation Platform at Tinder, where he is the founding engineering manager of the data instrumentation platform team. His team aims to improve the quality of data and insights by using cutting-edge, open-source-first technologies and services. Amin has built a new team consisting of Android, iOS, Web, and Backend engineers, streamlined open source at Tinder, and introduced a completely new architecture for tracking and ingestion of instrumentation events. He has also influenced a new approach for automating app and service instrumentation to replace all instrumentation at Tinder over the next 2-3 years. Amin has led and grown junior to mid-level engineers to senior levels in a short time. Prior to joining Tinder, Amin worked at Uber, where he served as a Senior Software Engineer - Rider Growth and Senior Software Engineer - Data Systems Architect. At Uber, he founded Uber's data workflow platform, Piper, and worked on several projects, including Uber's content targeting platform, contact picker experience, invite experience, and onboarding - sign-in and sign-up flows. Amin holds an MS in Computer Science from SUNY at Buffalo and a BS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo. He also completed an Executive Education program in Leadership and Strategy at Harvard Business School. Amin's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Android, iOS, Backend, and Web. He is a creative, innovative, and visionary leader who can balance short, medium, and long-term visions as requirements evolve.
