Amir Khan is a Senior Software Engineer with over 14 years of experience in development, maintenance, testing, production support, bug fixing, and re-engineering of applications. He has worked on various domains such as Automotive, Power Electronics, Telecom, Transportation, Embedded, and Handheld Applications. His special areas of interest include Real-Time Operating Systems. Amir holds an Executive MBA from Prudent Executive Management Institute (PEMI), India, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, India. He secured a GPA of 3.7/4 in the Executive General Management Program (EGMP) and received first-class with distinction appreciation. Amir has vast experience in working with different RTOS such as VxWorks, Nucleus, Ecos, Ucos, Qnx, Integrity RTOS, and Wince. He has worked on various projects such as Telematics Gateway ECU developed for European, North America, and Asia markets, T-PRO 4000 Enhancements, L-PRO 4000 Enhancements, B-PRO 4000 Enhancements, B-PRO 8700 Enhancements, and many more. Currently, Amir is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Communications Test Design India Pvt Ltd. (CTDI), leading a team of three members. His responsibilities include project discussions, planning, designing, implementing, executing, and evaluating tests for New Product Implementation (NPI). He also validates and prepares technical documents, cost sheets, reports, initial drafts, low level and high-level design documents. Amir has expertise in developing automation tools on C# and Python and has knowledge of Data Science. Prior to his current role, Amir worked as a Lead Engineer in Embedded Transportation domain at Quest Global Engineering and as a Technical Lead at HCL Technologies for an in-house project.
