Amir Saudagar is a highly experienced recruitment professional with over 11 years of experience in sourcing top talent across the US, India, and APAC regions. He has a diverse background in recruiting for various industries, including IT, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Biotechnology, BFSI, and Telecom. Amir is always on the lookout for creative ways to find great talent and has a deep understanding of sourcing tools and techniques. Currently, Amir is serving as a Senior Technical Sourcer at Arctic Wolf, where he is responsible for sourcing high-performing software development engineers for numerous teams. In his previous role as Lead - Talent Discovery at VMware, he led a team of 13 Talent Discovery Partners and implemented Agile Scrum projects in recruitment. He also drove diversity sourcing strategies using various tools to help influence stakeholders and ensure talent mapping focused on DEI and SaaS candidates. Amir has a strong ability to screen, interview, and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline. He creates strategic sourcing plans for smooth functioning of the team and sourcing reports to analyze data for gaining insights. Amir is an ambassador of his companies, demonstrating and articulating the company’s values, culture, work environment, benefits, and other areas of interest to a candidate as necessary. He participates in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for senior-level openings. Amir holds a B.Com degree in Commerce and Economics from Saifia Arts and Commerce College and completed his 12th grade from Cambridge School. In his free time, he loves to watch movies, series, documentaries, and connect with people from different backgrounds, diversities, and professional careers.
