Amit Kumar Sah is a highly experienced Software Engineer III with a passion for JVM language (Java), JavaScript, Python, Distributed Systems, Multi Threading and Concurrency Models, Algorithms, and Networking. He holds a Post Graduation degree in Telecom Technology and Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Intel, Amit's responsibilities include understanding the business requirements as conveyed by technical architects of the team for the Network Management System proprietary software, participating in the design phase of new features, and developing the front-end and back-end frameworks for new features or enhancements using Java, Hibernate, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, CSS, and Servlets. He has also developed Alarm as a service in NMS to optimize the load on NMS using a distributed system like Kafka and NoSQL Database. Moreover, he has handled operational issues reported during the testing phase of the features, participated in code review for peers, and provided training and guidance to new members of the team. Before joining Intel, Amit worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tejas Networks, where he was responsible for developing the front-end and back-end frameworks for new features or enhancements using Java, Hibernate, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, CSS, and Servlets. He has also worked as a Software Engineer at Ericsson, where he was involved in the development of strategic Intelligent Automation Projects, including end-to-end lifecycle management (product design to hosting – software to hardware).
