Amit Aggarwal is a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with over 9 years of experience in designing and building microservice architecture based solutions for cloud environments. He is currently working at Netskope as a Staff Software Engineer, where he has transitioned to a development role after working as an SDET focusing on Automation Framework. Amit has experience mentoring junior engineers and is skilled in Python programming language. Amit has worked with various data systems like Redis, Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, and Mongo. He has a relevant experience of 11.28 years and is proficient in software engineering, senior software engineering, SDET, Redis, Python, MongoDB, microservices, SRE, and integration. At Netskope, Amit has worked on building a scalable task execution framework with the ability to support prioritization of work queues. He also designed a workflow for migrating tenants from one data center to another, implemented the usage of webhooks to get change notifications for Box app, and worked on migration from Apache Kafka to Apache Pulsar, providing better scalability. He was the owner of Kafka integration and worked with SRE team to come up with run books and capacity planning. In his previous role at Netskope, Amit worked on existing Kafka implementation, solving bugs and production issues.
