Amit is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the mobile industry. He has a strong background in debugging code, Android, C++, C, and Linux, and is a merit scholarship holder and an Erasmus Mundus grantee. Currently, Amit works at Qualcomm as a Senior Software Engineer in the Device Management team where he is developing and maintaining a framework to collect data from Qualcomm enabled chips in the field. He is also learning about Android and its interaction with native modules such as HALs, HIDls, and AIDLs as part of his role. Prior to his current position, Amit worked at Sandvine as a Software Engineer where he developed the mobile data management product, Quota Manager. He was responsible for developing framework policies that enabled end-users to use data connectivity, manage the quota of data network, and trigger notifications when a particular quota was exceeded. Amit holds a Bachelor's degree focused in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He also studied at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he earned another Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
