Amit Asawa is a transformative technologies consultant with over 16 years of industry experience. He has held various roles throughout his career, including coder, system architect, digital strategist, transformation leader, advisor/consultant, implementation specialist, professional service lead, delivery manager/head, program/portfolio manager, and product owner. Amit has been involved in six major areas, including new offerings, legacy portfolio retirement and/or transformation, professional service delivery management, advisory/consultancy, expansion in new markets, and setup/manage geographically distributed teams. Amit is passionate about thought leadership and entrepreneurship, and in his free time, he likes to think about sustainability and how digital techs can help in building a sustainable future. He is not afraid of challenges, struggles, and rejections, which empowers his keep trying attitude. Currently, Amit works as a Senior Manager at Genpact, where he primarily assists blue-chip clients in strategizing and managing their AI adoption journey. He specializes in some of the most challenging areas of AI, such as crafting approvable AI investment proposals, developing AI business cases, selecting the right use cases, determining suitable infrastructure, and focusing on less glamorous areas like the model operationalization cycle. Amit has managed a portfolio of 21 various implementations ranging from custom developed solutions to vendor platforms customizations with over 2000 users. He has also managed a globally distributed full-service digital team of 27 members, including remote employees and contractors. Amit holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Penn State University, a M. Tech (‘C’ Level) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, and a Master of Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University. He also holds an Advanced Diploma In Computers (‘A’ Level) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, a Master of Mathematics from Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, and a Bachelor of Science from Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University.
