Amit Bansal is a highly experienced professional in the areas of Group Risk, Insurance & Compliance, SOX Compliance, Organisational Resilience, Internal Audit, Crisis Management, and Technology Risk & Compliance. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has developed a strong expertise in Enterprise Risk Management and Governance implementation, Insurance Portfolio Management, SOX Compliance, Organisational Resilience framework design and implementation, Executive and Board Crisis Simulations, and BCM and IT security internal audit. Currently, Amit is working as a Director - Financial Services and GRC at Capgemini, where he is responsible for leading and managing the Risk in Change team within Enterprise Risk Management. He is also the Program Director for Technology Solutions and GRC for Banking and Financial Services. He provides guidance to multiple clients relating to the development of controls for critical business processes to mitigate compliance/operational risk. Prior to joining Capgemini, Amit worked as a Program Manager at Covermore Group, where he delivered technology risk and assurance management framework and processes. He also delivered risk and assurance registers in the GRC tool ensuring all regulatory and contractual requirements from Apra, CBA, Zurich and other entities are delivered by relevant departments. Before that, he worked as a Senior Manager - Operational Risk and Insurance at The NRMA, where he was responsible for the Group Risk and Insurance Programme within NRMA. He was also the key point of contact for oversight of NRMA's execution of the Enterprise Risk Management framework. Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Information Systems from the University of Auckland. He is a specialist in his field and has a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes for his clients.
