Amit Bhadoriya is an experienced Process Engineer with over 6 years of experience in handling capital projects and Process Engineering in the chemicals industry. He is currently working as the Manager- Capital Investment at Lanxess. Amit has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Amit's expertise lies in preparing Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown procedures, and changeover procedures for multi-product plants. He is well-versed in conducting HAZOP studies for new process plants and incorporating safety measures for all systems and subsystems. Amit has also conducted feasibility studies for new process plants, considering various factors such as Cost of goods manufacturing (COGM), space constraints (Layout optimization), energy requirement v/s availability at the site, and old equipment re-validation. Amit has worked with Bayer as Manager, Projects- Bayer India, where he was responsible for providing timely feedback to the management regarding project status and creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. He has also coordinated with other engineering disciplines during project phases such as Electricals, Mechanical, Instruments, Projects Management, and Civil. Amit has experience in cold and hot commissioning for new AI manufacturing facilities and ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 documentation. He has proposed designs and executed plant trials directed at enhancing plant performance and investigated plant performance issues related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability, and operability leading to proposal and implementation of sound technical solutions. Amit has also worked as a Summer Intern at Applied Materials, where he conducted research-oriented work, designed the process of Atomic Layer Silicon Etching using a non-plasma chlorine-ultraviolet system, and developed a process for the synthesis of highly conductive Li3ClO based solid electrolyte for thin film Li-ion batteries.
