Amit Bhutoria is an enterprising individual with a passion for technology, education, and energy servicing. With over 24 years of experience, he has worked in various sectors, including startups and multinational organizations. Currently, he serves as the Founding Director of E-Cube Energy Infra Services Pvt Ltd, where he is responsible for business and product strategy, driving partnerships across different verticals for the organization. Prior to this, Amit was the Product Manager and Core Team member at Minekey, a venture-funded startup, where he led the product management and QA function within the engineering organization. He also served as the Program Lead for Discovery Services Group at Minekey, the company's research wing based out of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Amit started his career with the Private Wealth Management team at Goldman Sachs's Bangalore office as an Analyst. He also interned with American Supplier Institute Inc, Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, and the Centre for Educational Technologies (CET), IIT Kharagpur. While at university, he founded CET Students Research Group (CSRG) and the Entrepreneurship Call (e-Cell) at IIT Kharagpur. Amit's specialties include product development, product research, strategy, general management, social networking, social media, education technology, internet commerce, web 2.0, cleantech, energy servicing, energy trading, carbon trading, carbon finance, and environmental financial products. He has worked with E-Cube Energy Trading Private Limited (EETPL), an investment advisory firm working across the entire value chain in the power generation sector. EETPL assists clients with their project financing needs through various instruments such as debt, external commercial borrowings, private equity, etc., and in monetizing existing assets like carbon credits and power purchase agreements. EETPL is currently working on projects with an aggregate generating capacity of over 300 MW from sectors such as wind, biomass, hydro, and waste to energy. Amit has a strong educational background, having attended la martiniere from 1999 to 2001. He has a diverse tech stack, including infra, research scientist, product manager, QA, mobile, and web. Amit is a Joint Secretary at the IIT Kharagpur Alumni Association Kolkata.
