Amit Dey is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 3.78 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working at L&T, where he is involved in creating Java Springboot microservices in the backend of a Semantic Data platform. He is responsible for designing ontologies for POCs and ensuring the maintenance of these services on AWS. Amit's main goal is to implement a system that can make autonomous decisions based on the data gathered from disparate sources. Prior to his current role, Amit worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at L&T, where he gained experience working with IBM's MQ middleware integration platform and Axway's API Gateway. He also worked as an intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, where he did client-side validation for given fields on a webpage using jQuery and created the frontend for a basic website using Bootstrap. Amit is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the University at Buffalo, which he is set to complete in December 2023. He previously earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai and a degree in Computer Engineering from Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College. Amit's technical expertise includes AWS, infrastructure, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and frontend and backend development. He is actively seeking SDE internship opportunities for Summer 2023 and is excited to apply his skills and knowledge to new projects and challenges.
