Amit Garg is an accomplished professional with over 21 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently the Co-Founder of erdaw technologies pvt. ltd., where he is introducing Gas and Flame Detection Review in India in collaboration with Micropack Engineering, Scotland and Exotic Gas Detectors from DOD Technologies, USA. Prior to this, Amit worked at honeywell as a Project Leader, where he managed the Product Development Team in Safety Product lines, including Gas Detectors, Flame Detectors, Indoor Air Quality, and Toxic Gas Detector. He led a multi-disciplinary team, resolving day-to-day technical issues and worked cross-functionally with all functions such as sourcing, manufacturing, field service, marketing, sales, and more. Amit also founded indoor and outdoor flame labs in Bangalore, India, to build flame detection domain capability and implemented Encrypted and highly secured RFID technology for Sensor Auto-integration with Gas Detectors. He was awarded the VPD Engineering Excellence Award 2013 and HGR Excellence Q1, 2014 for a critical product upgrade in a Flame Detector. Amit also worked at infogain as an Associate Consultant, where he led a team of talented developers for off-shore, high-speed BSP and Device Drivers development on ARM and PowerPC Micro-controllers and System-on-chips on RTOS such as QNX and LynxOS/LOS178. He introduced a multi-tier code review process for strict RTOS kernel change management and created BSP Estimation Model to calculate efforts required based on baseline/references and team capabilities. Amit was adjudged as an ACE Performer, put on an accelerated career growth path, and recommended for various Leadership Trainings. Amit holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, with a focus on B2B Marketing, IT, and Financial Markets.
