Amit Ghorpade is a Mulesoft Integration Lead at Capgemini with over 14 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He is currently working on a highly complex Insurance Domain Digital Transformation Program, analyzing business requirements and providing solution architecture design. He is involved in high-level design for the integration of various systems using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform and has knowledge of 120+ APIs covering Digital, PC, PCW, Claims, Radar, Salesforce, and Third-Party Integration. Amit has achieved more than 40% API reusability in different policy journeys and his API design considers security, reusability, performance, guaranteed message delivery, message format, and three-layer architecture (API led connectivity). He also provides technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to the development team and participates in code reviews, resource hiring, knowledge sharing, and ensuring the quality of the work. Amit has managed 2 releases in parallel in terms of development and delivery and has improved the CI-CD pipeline to achieve DevOps Culture and one-click deployment process. In his past role as Senior Consultant at Capgemini, Amit led Mulesoft development for Customer Real-time screening Program in Banking Domain and documented Low-Level Design documentation and Development for Mule API. He was responsible for defining the development roadmap, standard guidelines, and implementing best practices of Mulesoft. Amit has also worked on System API development using RAML for Banking Domain project and implemented Agile scrum methodology for product development. Prior to Capgemini, Amit worked as an Associate Architect at Synerzip and was involved in Backend Rest API development using Spring WEBMVC framework for Hospitality-LRS. He has experience in using Swagger for API documentation along with OAuth as a security pattern and has worked with SpringDataJPA + hibernate along with MySQL connection to store static data. Amit has also worked with MongoDB to store dynamic and large data that is coming from different devices/apps and has used Map/Reduce on MongoDB to aggregate data and used the resulting data for reporting purposes. Amit holds a Bachelor's of engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune and has a tech stack that includes Integration, test, DevOps, Salesforce, CI/CD, MongoDB, Jenkins, Microservices, Senior Software Engineer, MySQL, Spring, UI, Backend, and Web.
