Amit is a dynamic and skilled Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware with over 9 years of relevant experience in the software development lifecycle. He is an active member of the Kubernetes/Openshift community and is currently working on Ingress Controller (CIS) for Kubernetes and Openshift platform that creates L4/L7 services on F5 BIG-IP device. Amit has experience in creating High-Level/Low-Level designs for the product and is involved in all phases of product development, from feature selection to delivery and status tracking on a daily basis. Amit's specialities include Golang, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, and System design. He has also worked on Angular, JavaScript, and MySQL. Amit has worked with various companies, including f5 and efi, where he has held positions such as Software Engineer III and Sr. Software Engineer, respectively. At f5, Amit was responsible for working on Ingress Controller (F5-CIS) for Kubernetes and Openshift Platform. He was involved in all phases of product development and worked along with the Agile team, in feature development and enhancement of CIS. Technologies involved were GOLANG, DOCKER, KUBERNETES, OPENSHIFT, PYTHON, and he was responsible for interaction with PO and the customers for understanding the requirements and product releases. Amit has also resolved critical customer issues and has experience in High-Level/Low-Level design of products. Amit has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science (Information Security) from nit warangal and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in CSE from shri shankaracharya technical campus.
