Amit Gupta is a dynamic and accomplished individual with a diverse range of experiences and skills. Currently serving as Deputy Collector (SDM) in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, he has been able to leverage his background in software engineering to bring a unique perspective to his work in public service. Amit began his career as a Software Engineer at Samsung in Delhi, where he developed a strong foundation in programming and software development. However, he soon realized that his true passion lay in public service and decided to pursue a career in the government sector. He cracked the 64th Bihar PCS 2018 (Revenue Officer) and U.P. PCS 2019 (Deputy Jailor) before achieving his current position as Deputy Collector via the Uttar Pradesh Civil Services Examination 2020. Amit is a B.Tech. Computer Science graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. He is a passionate memer and loves cooking. His interests include writing, blogging, watching movies, web series, art, and craft. Amit's experience in software engineering has given him a strong foundation in technology, which he has been able to apply to his work in the government sector. He has a deep understanding of software development and has been able to leverage this knowledge to improve government processes and systems.
