Amit Gupta is an experienced ADAS Software Developer with a specialization in Active Lane Keep and Lane Change, Vehicle Dynamics, and C/C++. He has previously worked with Mercedes-Benz as a Vehicle Dynamics & ADAS Engineer, where he developed Lane Keep Assist algorithms and was responsible for the control trajectory planning based on lane center. He has also worked on software testing and calibration on vehicles and SiL platforms, testing-based development for Level 2 and Level 3 Autopilot, and ADAS system testing on vehicles with measurement hardware setup. Amit has a Master's degree in Automotive Technology and has worked on the development of vehicle mathematical models for ADAS HiL & SiL testing, vehicle lateral dynamics validation & model improvement, modeling and SiL testing for vehicle dynamics ECUs (ESP & EPS), digital validation, SiL & HiL testing, EPS modeling, and simulation for Lane keep Assist, and modeling of Rear Axle Steering for ADAS and automated parking. Prior to his work with Mercedes-Benz, Amit worked as a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer with Xitadel CAE Technologies Pvt. Ltd. where he worked on simulation tool CarSim and designed and simulated control systems like ESP, EPS, and ADAS Algorithms. He also worked as a Student Activity - Vehicle Dynamics Engineer and Team Leader with Team Sultanz of Speed (Formula SAE), where he designed suspension systems and components and conducted driver and vehicle testing. Amit's education history includes a Master's degree in Automotive Technology from the College of Engineering, a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from ARAI Academy, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gautam Buddha Technical University. He has also completed the AWS Machine Learning Foundations course and the Self-Driving Car Nanodegree program from Udacity. Amit's technical skills include software engineering, C, and testing, and he has a relevant experience of 7.70 years in the field of ADAS software development and vehicle dynamics.
