Amit Jain is a highly skilled Solution Architect with over 11 years of experience in the Telecom and Cloud industry. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Lead at NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd, he specializes in designing and implementing 5G core solutions such as AMF, SMF, NSSF, NRF, UPF, and Roaming. Amit has a proven track record of handling complex solutions, including international roaming design and delivery, PCRF, and IRC product delivery. He has also implemented PCRFs, performed traffic migration, hardware addition, and failover activities. Amit possesses hands-on experience in multiple vendor products such as IMS Nokia/Mavenir, Huawei USN/UGW, and DRA. He is an AWS-Certified Cloud Solution Architect and has experience in IMS and WebRTC R&D. Amit has also worked on Evolved Packet Core Network planning and implementation, VoLTE implementation and testing, E2E network optimization, and accuracy of KPIs, MOS improvement in Vodafone Germany. He has strong debugging skills in Media (Audio as well as Video) and transcoding with different codecs (AMR, OPUS, G711, H248, and VP8). Additionally, he has designed and tested LTE to 2g/3g/4g Network Data Roaming (interstandard Roaming) and rolled out EPC and IMS networks in Gujarat Jam Nagar and RCP Navi-Mumbai. Prior to joining NEC Corporation, Amit worked as a Core Specialist at Amdocs and as a Senior R&D IMS Engineer at Mavenir. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering and Technology. Amit's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering, testing, AWS, and integration.
