Amit Kankani is a Senior Director of Engineering with over 19 years of experience in the mobile internet industry. Amit has a proven track record of building successful products from scratch. He built Newshunt and its new avatar, Dailyhunt, from the ground up. He is passionate about ideating, building teams, executing, and reacting to challenges in the product development cycle. Amit has worked with various companies in the past, including Eterno Infotech and Mahindra Satyam. At Eterno Infotech, he served as a Software Specialist, while at Mahindra Satyam, he worked as a Software Engineer. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and has also studied Electronics at Jain College. He completed his schooling at Sri Aurobindo Memorial School. Amit's expertise lies in Android, mobile, and software engineering.
