Amit Khandelwal is an experienced Software Development Engineer with a career spanning almost a decade. Currently working at Amazon, he is involved in developing the Amazon ElasticSearch Service. Prior to this, he worked at Productiv, where he was a member of the backend engineering team that developed an analytics platform for SaaS applications engagement. His work involved developing a framework to ingest engagement data from various sources, creating meaningful aggregations on the data and facilitating visualizations. He also engineered pull mechanism based connectors for Docusign, Concur, Smartsheet, and Atlassian Jira SaaS applications. Additionally, he implemented a framework for webhook-based (push mechanism) connectors for applications to push data to Productiv. Amit has also worked at Riverbed Technology, where he was a Member of Technical Staff. In this role, he worked on the new design and architecture of blockstore which is a multi-tier caching model of SteelFusion client. He also worked on implementing the Virtual Service Platform Implementation for NFS – SteelFusion. Amit holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, which he completed in 2016. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in 2011. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for his high school education. Amit's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AWS, NodeJS, Javascript, Backend, and Elastic Search.
