Amit Kuksal is an accomplished AVP Engineering with over 18 years of experience in generating growth for organizations through robust engineering initiatives and technology solutions. He has a diversified experience in developing large-scale, complex distributed software systems in the product-based industry. He possesses the ability to manage concurrent projects and cross-functional teams and has extensive experience in continuously improving processes and products by meeting and exceeding performance and reliability requirements. With over 11 years of experience in leadership roles, Amit has led teams in technical design, architecture, and provided direction. Amit's specialties include new technology direction decisions, highly scalable and available software systems design, resilient and high-scale/availability transaction environments, SAAS and multi-tenancy applications' system design and architecture, cross-functional team leadership, and process optimizations. He is also an expert in agility and quality assurance, Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira), Azure DevOps, talent acquisition, and retention, and SEO. Currently, Amit is serving as the Associate Vice President of Engineering at Jio, where he heads two engineering teams in the New Commerce division. He also leads the JioMart Partner App's frontend team, which comprises of Android native and React web team members. Previously, Amit has worked with Info Edge as a Senior Engineering Manager, where he led and managed the technology team of Naukri.com's First Naukri and Naukri E-learning businesses. He also worked with FCS Software Solutions as a Project Lead, where he successfully managed project delivery with MPP. Amit holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, completed in 2004, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completed in 1998. His tech stack includes QA, Android, frontend, web, DevOps, Azure, and senior software engineer.
