Amit Kumar is a highly skilled Production and Assembly Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field. Currently working at BCH Electric Ltd., Amit is part of a team working on a project for Productivity increase with Quality by Production Planning, Reduction of Quality loss, Kaizen implementation, 5s activities, and preparing documents for new product development. He is also supervising the assembling of product Contactors (AC/DC). Prior to his current role, Amit worked as an Energy Analyst at Kamal Cogent Energy Pvt. Ltd. where he analyzed critical data for Demand Response Programme, triaged and solved complex data quality issues, and validated electrical meter data. He was also involved in the installation and commissioning of a 550 Kwp Solar Power Plant at SDMC, Delhi. Amit has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with an aggregate of 81.04% (Honors) from Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur. He has also completed a 30-day Solar Course on Photovoltaic Power Generation online training in collaboration with SRRA and NISE, a unit under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India. Amit is a strong team player with the ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. He is committed to learning and dealing with the challenges of the real world to gain more skills. In his current role, Amit is responsible for maintaining 5S & Safety on the shop floor, ensuring the quality of equipment/products as per specifications, operator training and multiskilling through continuous training activities, creating daily production reports, facing internal ISO audits, and more. Amit has also worked with Iacharya Silicon Limited and has completed his 12th from Dr. R.B. Roy College, Hajipur, and 10th from H.S. High School, Harnatand. He has a strong tech stack and is a Research Scientist.
