Amit Kumar is a skilled System/Software Engineer-II with over 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering. He has a solid understanding of network architecture and has hands-on experience in end-to-end cloud setup, deployment, and troubleshooting. Amit is currently working with Hewlett Packard as a System/Software Engineer-II. Amit's expertise includes deployment automation using Ansible, Python, and bash scripts. He is proficient in configuring entire infrastructure networks and has experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. Amit has also worked on DPDK and SRIOV solutions, and has experience in performance tuning of VM through DPDK templates changes. Before joining Hewlett Packard, Amit worked with Mavenir as a Member of Technical Staff. There, he was responsible for big cloud fabric configuration, Cisco switch configuration, and Dell server configuration. Amit also worked on external Ceph configuration and deployment, HDD to SSD conversion for Ceph nodes, and application onboarding support. He was involved in Mavenir WebScale Platform (Kubernetes Setup) and automation of firmware upgrades and OS setup using Ansible and bash scripting. Amit also worked on networking config in BCF leaf switches and physical cabling validation using data from design documents with the help of Python. Amit has also worked with Ericsson as a Solution Integrator. There, he was involved in Jnaapti training, RHOSP training, and OJT experience in Vodafone project at Karnal. Amit was also involved in ECEE deployment in Vodafone IDEA at Rajkot, where he was responsible for deployment activities, security hardening, openstack operation and maintenance. He also worked on Python scripts for preparing VM tetris for Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment. Amit has been trained in technologies like SDN, Ericsson HDS, and Openstack Networking. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He is proficient in software engineering, Python, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, JavaScript, mobile, infra, and web technologies.
