Amit Kumar is a Technical Architect with over 18 years of experience in the development of firmware for solid state devices. He is currently working for KIOXIA Group, where he is responsible for the firmware development of NVMe based dSSD projects. Amit's expertise lies in the development of firmware for dSSD, eSSD, and cSSD, and he has worked on data center solid state device projects for backend firmware development. Prior to his current role, Amit worked for Toshiba as a System Specialist, where he worked on the data center solid state device (DSSD) project for backend firmware development. He also worked for KIOXIA Group as a Staff Software Engineer, where he focused on the development of data center SSD backend firmware. Amit has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, where he graduated in 2005. He also has a Science-Math degree from Modi SC. and Commerce College Modinagar, which he earned in 2000. In addition to his experience in firmware development, Amit has expertise in multimedia framework, audio firmware, audio processing, assembly programming, and DSP processors. He has also worked on DTV BSP, DTV Framework, and audio firmware for DTV, STB, and Blu-ray players. He has developed audio codecs and audio post-processing modules for mobile, Blu-ray DVD, and DTV/STB projects. Amit's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, Backend, and Software Engineer. With over 18 years of relevant experience, Amit is a highly skilled Technical Architect with a deep understanding of firmware development for solid state devices.
