Amit Kumar is a highly motivated Software Engineer with a passion for creating innovative solutions to complex problems. Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at JP Morgan, he is also a National Software Engineering Fellow for the year 2021. With 1.19 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in software engineering and UI development. Amit has previously worked as an SDE Intern at Coronasafe Network, where he contributed to an open-source project for disaster management during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was involved in the development and update of several modules, including Shifting of Patients, Palliative Care, and Life – a crowd-sourced resources directory for hospitals, ambulances, oxygen, and medicine. He played a key role in designing the structure of the database and building the scheduling model that involved searching and scheduling patients by ASHA workers. He also helped in building some UI components. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. He is expected to graduate in 2022. During his time at the institute, he gained a strong foundation in software engineering and developed skills in various programming languages and tools. Amit's tech stack includes Software Engineering and UI development. He is proficient in various programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript. He also has experience working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Amit is a quick learner, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. He is always eager to learn new technologies and take up new challenges.
