Amit Kumar is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for science and technology. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, he has gained extensive experience in different areas of business, including operations, maintenance, and contract management. His experience includes working with Coal India Limited (CIL) for 46 months, where he was responsible for the maintenance of Heavy Earth Machineries. During this time, he also learned valuable people skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation. He was also involved in handling warranty claims, purchase, and repair contracts, which helped him understand B2B contract management. To further expand his knowledge, Amit joined IIM Bangalore in its flagship MBA program. He is currently working as an Account Management Intern at Navi, where he is responsible for product management. Prior to this, he worked as a Summer Intern at Prione Business Services Pvt. Ltd and as a Co-Founder at Flagbeat, a hyper-local social networking app. Amit has a strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Dhanbad and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IIM Bangalore. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal. Amit has a wide range of technical skills, including Python, SQL, Keras, Scikit, and Pandas. He is a Research Scientist and Product Manager with relevant experience of 4.87 years.
