Amit Kumar is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. He is currently working as Lead II - Software Engineering at UST, where he is responsible for leading the development of software solutions using .net Technology and SQL Server. Amit has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree focused in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University. He is skilled in Azure, SQL, Software Engineering, DevOps, Integration, and test. His technical expertise includes developing and maintaining Azure functions, APIM, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB. He is also experienced in developing Restful APIs and implementing them in various projects. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer II at Photon, Amit developed a new Azure function using C# programming language and maintained the development pipelines in Azure DevOps. He also worked on the development of e-Challan, Permit, Return, Transport, Vehicle, and Dealer modules for the Integrated Mines Management and Monitoring System (Jharkhand Mines & Geology Department) and Integrated Mines Management and Monitoring System (Bihar Mines & Geology Department). He handled 50 million E-Pass, Permit, and MIS records in Jharkhand and 20 million E-Pass and MIS records in Bihar. Amit has also worked as a Sr. Programmer at CSM Technologies, where he was responsible for designing and developing modules for the Jharkhand and Bihar Mines & Geology Departments. He integrated SMS and payment gateways with the CDAC, JeGrass, BillDesk, and Atom. He provided ad-hoc MIS reports to the departments and developed new MIS reports required by the departments.
