Amit has a passion for teaching, which led him to move to academics after 24 years in software development. He currently teaches Bachelor and Master-level courses and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. Amit holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology. He also has a Diploma in Computer Technology from the Board of Technical Education. Currently, Amit is pursuing a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology, Gandhi Nagar, to enhance his skills further. In his previous roles, Amit has worked as an Assistant Professor at Indus University and as a Vice President - Tech Manager at Bank of America. He has a deep understanding of software engineering and is proficient in various tech stacks.
