Amit Mathur is a Senior Manager of Engineering with over 15 years of experience in the Network Security, WAN Optimisation, AWS, and Endpoint Security domains. He has extensive experience in handling critical customer escalations for large accounts and has always worked closely with his team to create a productive and positive work culture. Currently, Amit is working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Tenable, where he is responsible for working with the FireEye Sustaining team and handling multiple critical customer escalations on different FireEye products such as Network Security and File Security. He closely works with the FireEye support team and customers to provide quick solutions and patches. Prior to his current role, Amit worked as a Sr. Manager of FireEye Endpoint Security at FireEye. He joined as one of the first few members of the Network Forensics QA Team and handled the validation of rule-based detection features like Snort and Suricata. He validated multiple features on the Network Forensics product and its integration with other FireEye products. Before joining FireEye, Amit worked as a Sr. Software Test Engineer at Citrix, where he worked on WAN Optimisation products and validated new features like IPv6. He also worked with cross-geo teams to lead the QoS feature validation and new feature discussions. Amit holds a B.E. degree in IT from Sobhasaria Engineering College, where he graduated in 2005. He also attended S.D. Jain School. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, AWS, QA, Integration, SDET, and Test. With 17.70 years of relevant experience, Amit is a seasoned professional in his field and has proven himself as a valuable asset to any team he works with.
