Amit Mirchandani is a highly skilled technology professional with over 13 years of experience in the field. As the SVP - Head of Engineering at FanCode, he is responsible for driving the strategy for the engineering function and exploring the domains of live streaming and e-commerce. A startup person at heart, Amit has been doing what he loves from the initial days of his career. He has dealt with systems with millions of rpm at scale and loves exploring the data world and deepening his understanding of distributed systems every day. His team and he have explored the world of backend and built resilient, fault-tolerant, and transactional systems. Prior to his current role, Amit worked at Dream11 as Vice President, where he led the backend product engineering team of 45 people who dealt with anything and everything which was front-facing and affecting user experience. His role included driving vision and strategy for the vertical and ensuring smooth operations across teams. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Parshwanath Engineering College and has completed his HSC from NKT College Thane and SSC from St. Xavier's School - Thane. With his senior software engineering and backend experience, Amit is a valuable asset to any team he is a part of.
