Amit began his career as a Customer Support Engineer in an Anti Virus Software Company, but quickly moved into programming and founded a Software Development Company in 1997. He has since held leadership roles in various software companies, including Head of Operations and Director of Software Development for an Enterprise CRM Software Company. Amit has extensive experience in building, growing, and managing multiple engineering teams and setting up global capability centers. He has also recruited, trained, managed, and retained highly talented software engineers within his companies. In addition to his professional experience, Amit is a coach, mentor, and speaker, with a vision to help professionals and entrepreneurs grow in their careers within the software industry. He is the founder of Solutions by Amit Patel, an initiative where he provides guidance, coaching, and consulting for software engineers and entrepreneurs in the software industry. Amit is also a public speaker and has spoken at colleges and startup forums about "Becoming an Entrepreneur: The Five Steps & Three Qualities to become an Entrepreneur."
