Amit Patil is a Senior Software Engineer at Infoworks.io with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Web Team Member at Technology Transfer Group (TTG), a students' initiative under the aegis of Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy, IIT Kharagpur. Amit believes in the potential of the Institute as a premier Research & Development centre and acts as a link between the industry and the academia to facilitate transfer of industry-ready technologies. Amit has previously worked as a Summer Intern at TATA Motors, C.V.B.U, Pune, where he worked on a project titled "WCQ Implementation" at Engine Assembly Line. He proposed a solution for avoiding defects in the engine due to improper tappet setting and suggested and implemented changes in the cart used to carry engine blocks to avoid block fouling problems. Amit has also worked as the Captain of the Hardware Modelling Team at Patel Hall of Residence, IIT Kharagpur. He currently leads a team of 15 members to compete in General Championship (2017-18) and has previously held the position of Vice-Captain and presented the Project "Anti-Roll Gyro," winning a silver medal in General Championship (2016-17). Amit has completed his High School education in Science (Vocational- Computer Science) from Fergusson College in 2013 and SSC from Biyani Military School, BSL in 2011. He has a strong tech stack and has been working as a Software Engineer for over 6 years. Amit is a dedicated and hardworking individual who believes in the power of research and development to create industry-ready technologies.
