Amit Paunikar is a Test Architect at Druva Data Solutions Pvt. Ltd., with over 18 years of experience in the field of QA/Testing/Automation. He has worked in various domains such as Cloud, Data Backup, Telecom, Mail/Messaging, Virtualization, and Thin Computing. Amit's areas of interest include QA/Automation, CI/CD, Jenkins, DevOps, Docker, AWS, Linux, Build/Release, and exploring new tools. Amit has been instrumental in executing QA/Testing/Automation projects, including hands-on contributions. He has recently achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in June 2020. Amit has also set up a complete release cycle, including Jenkins pipeline for build, deploy & test, CI pipeline in Git for every check-in using gitlab-runner, UI Automation framework using Cypress, Python based API testing framework, and release cycle every two weeks ensuring build creation, release regression testing, bug verification, and release to CloudOps happen on time. He is also maintaining local docker-based clouds and AWS clouds and has scripts for setting up local docker-compose based setup for Dev/QA environments to save AWS cost. Amit has worked as a Technical Lead and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Persistent Systems Ltd. before joining Druva. He has a Master's degree in Engineering from IISc and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the College of Engineering. Amit completed his HSSC from Shivaji Science College, Nagpur, and his SSC from Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. Amit's technical stack includes test, Senior Software Engineer, AWS, QA, Docker, Python, Jenkins, Selenium, CI/CD, DevOps, UI, Web, and Software Engineer. With relevant experience of over 20.28 years, Amit is a skilled professional with a strong interest in exploring new technologies and tools.
