Amit Peshwani is a proactive Data Science Enthusiast with over 5 years of relevant experience working around Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing. He is a quick learner and is always willing to enhance his skill set. Currently, he is working as a Data Scientist at eClerx. Amit has completed many projects in the above-mentioned domains. He recently completed a Friend Link prediction system where he used various methods like Node2Vec, Deepwalk to create embeddings for nodes. He used Spotify's ANNOY index algorithm to boost up the process of finding similar vectors based on embeddings. He also created manual features for cold start problems. Another interesting project he worked on is Parking Detection using RaspberryPi. Here, a model detects the empty parking slots and updates the user about the occupancy. All the computing is done locally on an edge device. Before joining eClerx, Amit worked as a Software Engineer at Simform and as a Contributing Writer at Towards Data Science. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University in 2018.
