Amit Saharan is a highly skilled Senior Member of Technical Staff at Cohesity, with over 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, machine learning, and data structures. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at IIT Roorkee, where he developed a keen interest in these areas. Amit's experience spans across multiple domains, including mobile, web, and backend development. He has worked with various technologies such as SQL, Python, Javascript, Keras, SVM, RNN, Word2Vec, Redis, CNN, NodeJS, and Django. He is also well-versed in neural networks, AI, and research scientist techniques. Amit has worked with Samsung as an Engineer I and a Summer Intern, where he was part of the Camera Software Team and the Health Team, respectively. He played a crucial role in developing solutions for commercialization and automating various health scenarios. Amit was also part of the ideation and brainstorming team for developing solutions for Samsung's internal issues portal, PLM. He managed and developed APIs for PLM using NodeJS, Express, and MS SQL server. Amit's team secured 8th rank out of 55 teams from all over the world at the Hackathon held at Seoul National University, South Korea. In the hackathon, he worked on developing a user-specific next word recommendation system and built the working web application from scratch using LSTM, RNN, SVM, Clustering Techniques, Word2Vec, Keras with Theano as backend, and Python's Dash framework.
