Amit Shanker is an experienced Software Engineer and Tech Lead currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Google Maps, focusing on Moderation and Information Quality. With over 13 years of relevant experience, Amit has a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Prior to joining Google, Amit has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Microsoft and Adobe. At Microsoft, he was a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for building a self-serve Data Platform on the largest data repository in the enterprise world - Microsoft O365. At Adobe, he was an early member of the team that designed and developed Adobe's next-gen multi-channel Data Platform for Enterprise. Amit has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also holds a High School degree in Mathematics and Science from Delhi Public School, Vindhyanagar, and an AISSCE degree in PCM from Modi Public School. Amit's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering, and Research Scientist. He is a highly skilled professional with a passion for technology and innovation.
