Amit Sharma is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently employed at Xerox as an Associate Engineer, where he has been responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for the company. Amit is an ITIL V4 certified professional with a strong technical background in software engineering, mobile, and infrastructure. Prior to his current position, Amit worked as a Technical Consultant at Basware, where he was responsible for providing process-based technical solutions to customers. He was also responsible for analyzing invoice rejections in different processing tools, maintaining, processing, and troubleshooting invoice data, and fixing issues to ensure positive delivery to customers. Amit identified technical problems and offered solutions, helped with request analysis for further competence development, and suggested process improvement to enhance the existing process. Before joining Basware, Amit worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Altruist Technologies, where he was the primary point of contact for eight mobile operators in India, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia for the Bubbly service. Amit managed the deployment, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, network and telecom equipment. He also administered all Linux servers, created shell scripts to cover system admin tasks, generated reports, and worked directly with operator partners in carrying out UAT of the product and customer infrastructure issues.
