Amit Singh is a highly experienced Founder & CEO of Wow Labz, a product engineering studio that specializes in building consumer applications and enterprise SaaS platforms. With over 20 years of relevant experience, Amit has been consistently recognized as one of India's top application development experts by multiple agencies since 2014. His team has built applications that have touched the lives of tens of millions of people and won multiple awards. Amit is also known as a thought leader in the startup, design, and product circuits in Bangalore. Prior to Wow Labz, Amit served as the Managing Director of Headstart Network Foundation, a volunteer-driven non-profit committed to changing the world through entrepreneurship. In this role, he helped people start approximately 12,000 startups and small businesses, and companies that made their early stage demos at Headstart events have cumulatively added over 1,40,000 Crore (about 20 billion USD) and created over 4,00,000 direct jobs in the country. Amit considers his primary role to be creating an environment where volunteers experience freedom, growth, and a strong sense of purpose. He also led the organization's strategy, fund raising, team building, and brand development. Amit's passion for promoting entrepreneurship led him to co-found Headstart Network Foundation, one of the biggest startup communities in India. He has played all kinds of roles at Headstart, including leading a city chapter, leading all chapters in the country, team building, selling, handling media, partnerships, training, mentoring, and more. At Headstart, Amit and his team organize over 150 startup events across 10 Indian cities every year, manage one of India's most popular startup mailing lists, and organize hiring, co-founder matching, mentoring events, and more. Amit's education background includes a BE in Computer Science from CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He has a strong technical background in blockchain, Python, DevOps, Dapp, and Decentralized technologies.
