Amit Thakkar is a passionate techie with over a decade of experience in the information technology and services industry. Currently, he serves as the Partner and Director of Technology at Coditas, where he leads a team of over 100 engineers. Amit joined Coditas in 2015, attracted by the company's foundation and vision centered around technology. Amit's role at Coditas is multi-faceted, encompassing technical, functional, and managerial responsibilities. He contributes to ideation and strategizing for the growing clientele, manages stakeholders, and develops support processes, including pre-sales, training, and recruitment. As a lead, Amit is adept at technical research, architecture, solutionizing, project delivery, process, and release management. Amit's experience working on various projects has made him proficient in multiple tech stacks, including Web (Enterprise full-stack applications on NodeJS, React), Mobile (React Native, Phonegap, IOS), Cloud (AWS, Microservices, Serverless), and Enterprise (.NET MVC, Commerce Server). However, Amit believes that programming is more than just languages, technologies, and frameworks - it is a culture. Therefore, he indulges in various hobby projects in his spare time to stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technology. Apart from his love for work, Amit enjoys engaging in conversations with those around him. He believes that building stronger relationships and guiding his coworkers along their professional curve is just as important as delivering projects successfully. Amit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sant Samarth Engineering College. He also attended St. Joseph's Public School. Amit has served as a Team Lead at Coditas and a Senior Software Engineer at Liquidhub. In total, Amit has 12.78 years of relevant experience in the industry.
