Amit Tikekar is a highly experienced and results-driven software engineering professional with almost two decades of international work experience across the USA, UK, Australia, Japan, and India. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering (APAC) at Razor Risk, Amit has extensive expertise in requirements engineering, architecture definition, object-oriented programming, and design principles and patterns. He has hands-on experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC/PDLC) using both waterfall and iterative (Agile) methodologies. Amit is an excellent communicator with a proven ability to effectively communicate with IT leadership and collaborate with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. He also has extensive experience in architecture, team management, leading, mentoring, and onsite/offshore model coordination. His specialties include C, C++, C#, Win32, COM, MFC, Qt, software architecture, and design patterns. Prior to joining Razor Risk, Amit served as a Software Development Manager at Greencap, where he managed a team of 9+ engineers in the risk management and compliance (RegTech) space. He was responsible for all aspects of software development, from product vision to software architecture and CI/CD. Amit was instrumental in setting up much-needed infrastructure to aid in software development, including Jira, Confluence, Git, software licenses, performance monitoring tools, SSO, and more. He also established well-defined business processes and guidelines, balanced customer and business needs, encouraged a collaborative culture, and oversaw recruitment and performance reviews. Before Greencap, Amit was a Technical Lead for Trading Platforms at Iress, where he collaborated with product architects and development teams to understand requirements, performance expectations, and then translate them into design and testable code. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computers from Savitribai Phule Pune University and has completed his education from Bharati Vidyapeeth. He has relevant experience of 23.21 years and possesses expertise in senior software engineering, software engineering, CI/CD, and infra.
