Amit Varshney is a highly skilled inventory planning and pricing professional with a strong background in the softlines industry. Currently working as a Senior Program Manager for Profitability at Amazon, he is responsible for driving profitability for the organization through effective inventory planning and pricing strategies. Amit's experience in the industry spans over 8 years, during which he has worked with some of the biggest names in e-commerce. Prior to his current role at Amazon, he worked as a Senior Program Manager for Inventory Planning and Pricing at Cloudtail India, where he was responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies that optimized stock levels and reduced costs. Before joining Cloudtail India, Amit worked as an intern at Myntra, where he played a key role in restructuring the merchandise return policy to curb abuse by select customers. He also developed a model to predict next month's customer return percentage by analyzing customer return patterns and identifying key customer and product trends. Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Economics from IIM and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from IIT.
