With over 15 years of relevant experience, Amit has honed his skills in decision-making with a calm mind, attention to detail, honesty, and integrity. He is a no-thought leader who can define a vision, create winning strategies, and make things happen with his presence. Currently, Amit works as an Engineering Technical Lead at Cisco, where he improves platform quality systematically from the root, mentors juniors, drives solutions for complex, escalated, and high-impact customer problems, and collaborates with management in the decision-making process. He also leads networking and embedded systems software development in platform infra areas. In the past, Amit has successfully led the migration of multiple Cisco products to a new Cisco Polaris OS with the help of a new, diverse, and talented team through various challenges. He has also developed, owned, and led various features technically for Cisco ASR1000, me360x, ASR920, ASR903 series Routers, and Advanced Access switches and received awards and recognition for his contributions. Additionally, he has interacted with various customers and solved problems/issues faced by them. Amit holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from SGSITS, Indore. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Infra. Amit's current interests include personal growth and development, as well as helping others grow.
