Amit Wadkar is a highly competent professional with over 22 years of experience in technical architecture design, user experience, and product development. Currently, he is serving as a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering at LogicMonitor, where he is responsible for piecemeal upgrading/migration of TrueSight operations management UI from Angular JS to Angular 7, integrating with Yellowfin data analytics platform to provide advanced reporting capabilities within TSOM product, and designing and developing web UI built on HTML5, Backbone JS, amcharts, Fusion charts for BMC IT Data Analytics product. Amit has proven experience as a Product Owner working with Product Managers and stakeholders in shaping product requirements and strategy. He leads brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and user testing sessions and refines the Product Roadmap working with the product manager. He is also proficient in translating requirements into fluid, intuitive interactions and producing sketches, wires, flow diagrams, and user stories using tools like Balsamiq, Invision. He has hands-on application development experience on UI/Web technologies & Single page application development using modern UI technologies like HTML5, Angular, Backbone JS, RequireJS, Bootstrap, Node JS, amcharts. He is familiar with React, Redux, Apache Cordova, and Google Maps API.
