Amit Zaroo is a highly experienced Software Architect with a passion for front-end technologies and Human Computer Interaction. With over 25 years of relevant experience, Amit has a keen knack for developing human interfaces for the computer and has experience of the full product life cycle, working closely with customers, marketing, and field. Currently, Amit is working as a Sr Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys Inc, where he is giving direction to the next generation of Virtual Platform Technology and seeding a capable and motivated team in India. Prior to this, he worked as a Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys, where he managed the transition to Synopsys, supported major customers on migration and product enhancements, and developed new use cases/flows for the SPW product suite. Amit has also worked at Coware as an SMCS, where he owned the complete frontend of SPW, led the effort to migrate customers from the old product to the new one, and provided support to peers. He has extensive experience in C/C++ and Tcl and has worked on Linux on all major GUI technologies from XWindows to Qt. Amit holds a BE in Electronics and Communication from Delhi Institute of Technology and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. He also completed his Class XII in Science stream from DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir. Overall, Amit is a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect with a strong background in front-end technologies and Human Computer Interaction. He is passionate about developing user-friendly interfaces and has worked on a range of products throughout his career.
