Amit Zavery is an accomplished and results-oriented transformational leader with deep technical knowledge and proven business acumen. He is currently the Vice President and General Manager for Google Cloud's Business Platform & Cloud Operations organization, reporting to Google Cloud CEO. Amit is part of Google's leadership team that has grown Google Cloud revenue from $5.5B in 2018 to $19.2B in 2021. Prior to joining Google, he was an Executive Vice President of Oracle Cloud Platform, Middleware products, and Java, generating more than $6 billion of Oracle's revenue annually. Amit has a proven track record of designing and delivering market-leading products and building organizations by recruiting and retaining world-class talent. He was instrumental in building Oracle's Fusion Middleware product portfolio that scaled from zero to $5B in annual revenue in less than 10 years. He also led Oracle's transformation into a cloud platform provider by starting and building Oracle Public Cloud and operating multiple cloud-native services that are generating more than $800M in annual recurring revenue. Amit is a regular keynote speaker at industry events and is considered a thought leader in enterprise software by customers, press, and analysts. He also has extensive experience in identifying, acquiring, and integrating numerous private and public companies. Currently, he is a Board Member of Broadridge, the leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions for wealth management, asset management, and capital markets firms. Amit's educational background includes an MS in Information Networking (joint degree in Computer Science and Business) from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas, and an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
